Commercial History

For the last 40 years we have taken part in the most important Holstein Shows in our country. In 1989 we made a clearout of our Pedigree herd keeping only the cow Grillesca 565 or Pupe, whose offspring constitutes the base of our actual pedigree animals in our stud.

We have sold cattle in our domestic market and exported to countries such as Spain, Brazil, Peru, Paraguay, Bolivia, Equator and Mexico. At the same time we have imported cows from Canada in 1980 and from U.S.A. in 1997.

We have been making the official milk control from the Rural Uruguayan Association (A.R.U.) from our beginning (in milk volume, milk protein, fat and somatic cells) and linear qualification for type.
Since 1998, we have an Annual Sale in December with two friend Studs, with elite Pure Pedigree (P.P.) animals, Holstein Selection (H.S.) and P.P. bulls.
